Bad news folks!  Losing weight is not all that easy as shown by your neighborhood or the posh weight loss clinic round the corner. The easiest way to gain weight is by just stuff yourself and lo and behold, you are fat as Queen Victoria. Try losing it and you will find it to be very difficult. It just can't be done in a hurry, period.

Look at all those fat men in the streets. Statics say that 65% of the obese people have tried some kind of remedial action to get rid of the extra pounds but, give up after a short time later rather than trying continuing losing weight! What they don't realize is that you have to keep at it until the cows come home, fat and content!

How do we get this abominable fat in the first place? Primarily from the food we gorge ourselves on. So logically eating less must keep the weight in check. Not necessarily. You might have noticed there are girls who send down pounds of ice cream at one sitting and still remain enviably slim. Obesity is also a serious problem which can invite even cancer among other things.

As funny as a laxative treatment and as altruistic as yoga juggling can be very simple means in which you can lose weight. To each his own but, if you want to spend most of your waking hours in the pleasant surroundings of your bathroom, you are most welcome. All the weight loss programs  try and make it seem like you will one day be like Brad Pitt in no time at all   and you fall for it lock, stock and barrel. Dieting is an age old method to lose weight and while it works out well for some people; it is quite ineffective for most other people. The catch here again is the pain that you would rather not put up with over the loss of weight.

There are any numbers of drugs as exotic as pineapple extracts in a capsule in the market; each one shouting out its unique ability to do the trick; any number of programs that promise you the world.  Try each one out and you are ready to meet your maker, still fat but old enough to die!

When you are around 40, you can actually feel your metabolism is not all that fast and that's when even a slim man tends to put on weight. If he is not careful, he is on the wrong side of beautiful girls within no time at all! Not a cherishing thought so he embarks upon quick weight loss and worrying about not getting anywhere may indeed makes him lose weight!  The interesting this is, worrying for some, is a good way you can lose weight.  I wouldn’t recommend it.

Now let us examine some of the popular weight loss methods. Treadmill and weight lifting are two of the first things men think of when they want to lose weight. Treadmills are usually expensive propositions and the progress is slow.  Weight lifting can cause stress to the middle-aged and a visit to the doctor cannot be ruled out but while in the mid thirties it is best to try and develop your core muscular system so that later on in life you won’t be plagued with a beer gut.
